BDC promotes e-learning among the students

Ambassador Gillian MilovanovicThe Business Development Center (BDC), a joint investment of SEEU and e-BIZ project, supported by USAID, during the first week of March (5th -9th of March) will organize a BDC Week at the SEEU University.

Macedonian students need to understand the value of e-learning as well as the importance of lifelong learning if they are to become knowledge workers for the future. The goal of the “BDC Week” is to promote e-learning among the student population in Macedonia. During these five days, students as well as other visitors of SEEU Campus will have the chance to view and experience the benefits of Skill Soft e-learning solutions, known and used throughout the world. On Thursday (March 8th), the students will be able to attend a panel discussion on Branding as suggested topic where a guest speaker from the Macedonian business world will share his/her experience and students will present their view and knowledge on branding gained by Skillsoft courses. The BDC Week will close with a musical performance by a Macedonian music band.

The Business Development Center BDC recently got the exclusive license for distributing Skill Soft courses for Macedonia, Kosovo, Albania, Serbia and Montenegro. SkillSoft is a leading global company that provides e-learning content and technology products for business and IT professionals primarily within the Global 500.
2,800 leading companies use Skill Soft and more than half of the world's largest 500 companies use Skill Soft e-learning solutions. Some of those successful companies are AGFA, Coca Cola, Devonport Management Ltd, Eagle Star, Energis, FedEx HBOS, Hilton International, HMV UK Ltd, Hewlett Packard, Hilton Hotels, Konica Minolta, Philips Electronics, Siemens Communications, Xerox Europe.

Apart from promoting and providing e-learning possibilities, the BDC Center provides consulting services to organizations through the use of ICT – Information and Communication Technology (Managerial Training, Business Consulting, Online Training, Business Conference, and Video Conference).
