ExploringMacedonia.com - Winner of the “13th November” Award

Exploring Macedonia The winner of the prestigious ‘13th November’ Award for Publishing for 2006 has been granted to the National Tourism Portal ExploringMacedonia.com. The award has been granted for outstanding achievement in promoting the Republic of Macedonia and the city of Skopje on the portal Yahoo.

The award “13th November” is granted by the city of Skopje for achievements made in the spheres of economy, science, education, health-care, civil engineering, art, publication, and sport, achievements which represent completion of a creative or continuous working process.

The National Tourism Portal, ExploringMacedonia.com, was established with support from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) through its e-BIZ project. The portal enabled Macedonia to be presented on Yahoo, one of the most visited sites with more than 490 million visitors monthly, as well as remain on the Yahoo web page as one of “THE BEST OF RICHARD BANGS ADVENTURES “.

This was one of the biggest and probably most significant promotions of Macedonia on the e-market as well as the global market in general.
